This lesson guides 2nd graders through exploring their emotions and personal traits beneath the surface, fostering self-awareness and empathy. Through engaging activities and discussions, students will learn to recognize and articulate their feelings and understand others better.
In this 15-minute SEL morning meeting, 2nd graders will build community, practice greeting each other, and check in on feelings. This session fosters a positive classroom climate, empathy, and emotional awareness right at the start of each day.
