In this two-session mini-unit, 5th grade learning support students will learn to read, interpret, and advocate for their Individualized Education Program (IEP) as they transition to middle school. These lessons build confidence and skills for self-advocacy in just 30-minute sessions.

In this 30-minute 5th grade lesson, students with IEPs learn to identify their support network and practice advocating for help as they transition to middle school.
