This video guides viewers through a 5-minute breathing exercise, encouraging them to explore their natural breath flow without specific instructions. It emphasizes tuning into one's own body and breath, fostering a sense of mindfulness and relaxation.
Welcome to this 5-minute breathwork practice. This is a practice for you to explore how your breath feels, what it likes to do, and how it flows through you. There's no specific guidance for how you are "supposed" to breathe or not. This is about tapping into your own inner guidance and tuning in to how your breath flows when you let it flow as freely as possible. So, with that in mind, get into whatever posture feels best to you to help you breathe most freely. Trust what your body wants and needs. For many, this is a posture where you are seated up straight. But if that's not what your body wants today, trust your body. When you're ready, lovingly close your eyes and begin to turn your awareness inwards. Tune in to your breath, getting curious as you explore what it does, how it flows, and how it feels. What muscles are you engaging as you breathe in? Do you allow your stomach to be loose so it may expand? Do you feel a stretch in your ribcage? And when you exhale, what do you notice? A sense of release? Warmth? Contraction? Notice what happens when you let the breath move however it wishes to move, without controlling it, without trying to adjust it, but instead just being completely in harmony with what it wants. Perhaps some breaths will wish to feel very deep and rich, while other breaths may wish to feel more shallow and easy. Let them flow however they wish to flow, staying curious and observant as you watch and allow.
