This video guides viewers through a short meditation practice focused on feeling good and cultivating gratitude. It encourages self-awareness, appreciation, and a commitment to personal well-being.
Good morning. Begin this practice by sitting up in a comfortable position, spine tall and straight, feeling your body waking up. Rest your palms in your lap, facing open, and lovingly close those beautiful eyes of yours. Begin to turn inwards, dropping into your body, following the flow of your breath. Allow it to slow down, with your belly and rib cage expanding as you breathe in, and contracting as you breathe out. Become aware of any sensations in your body as you are awakening, perhaps feeling the clothes on your skin, the points of contact between you and the surface on which you are seated, maybe even sensing the air that is around you. Affirm to yourself, "I am here now. I am awake and alive for another day in my life." Recognize how grateful you feel for that, how miraculous it truly is, and find within your body where you feel a sense of appreciation for another day. Now, feel a sense of appreciation for your appreciation, and watch how it amplifies. Tune into your heart in the middle of your chest and a couple of inches inwards, and feel a commitment within you to feel good today. You deserve to feel good today. It is your birthright. Feel how loving it feels to commit to yourself, to give yourself the gift of feeling good today, to make feeling good your priority. Now, simply tune into all that feels good within you. Feel that good feeling.
