5 Minute Meditation: Positive Thinking

This video guides viewers through a short meditation focused on cultivating positive thinking. It encourages mindfulness and self-appreciation, using visualization techniques to enhance mental clarity and emotional well-being.

Begin by getting into a comfortable seated position. Let your palms rest in your lap, facing open, and gently close your eyes. Begin by focusing on your breath, feeling your belly expand as you breathe in and contract as you breathe out. Let your breath slow down as you feel yourself dropping into your body, feeling the points of contact between you and the surface on which you are resting. Feel the flow of air entering and exiting, letting it be easy. What else do you notice? As you let yourself connect to this present moment through your breath and body, you tune in to the desire you have in your heart to be someone who is adept at positive thinking. It is a practice and a skill we can cultivate and grow. Feel a sense of excitement and appreciation towards yourself for committing to shifting your perspective. As you feel thankful to yourself, begin to see a bright blue sky above, completely clear of any clouds. You may even imagine a cool breeze brushing against your face. The air feels open; you feel as though you are receiving more oxygen now. As you look at the clear blue sky, feel into the energy in your brain. Turn your awareness inwards, focusing on your brain. Doing so may cause a tingling sensation. As you focus on this space, feel a sense of love and appreciation for your brain. What an incredible machine. As you send love to your brain, see it lighting up. See it sparking with love.
