Lesson Plan

Anger Avengers Plan

Students will learn to recognize and label anger, practice three simple calming strategies (stop & breathe, count to five, use “I feel” statements), and apply them through an engaging team game to build self-regulation and ESL emotion vocabulary.

Managing anger strengthens social-emotional skills, reduces conflicts, and fosters a supportive classroom. Integrating ESL vocabulary practice helps 4th graders articulate feelings and coping techniques effectively.
