Welcome the student with energy. “Hero, welcome to the Anger Busters Quest! Today we’ll go on a 30-minute adventure to learn how to be an Anger Buster Hero.”
Explain the mission goals clearly. “Our mission has four steps: find your triggers, practice calming moves, role-play calm responses, and earn your Hero Badge!”
Show the Quest Map. “This map shows our journey. Each stop is one challenge. Complete each to earn stickers!”
Challenge 1: Identify Triggers
Hand him the flash cards. “Challenge 1: Draw an Anger Trigger card, name what makes you mad, and rate your anger from 1 to 5.”
Challenge 2: Calming Strategies
Show the wheel. “Challenge 2: Spin the Calming Strategies Wheel. Let’s practice the move it lands on—deep breaths, counting, or squeezing a ball.”
Challenge 3: Sibling Role-Play
Shuffle scenario cards. “Challenge 3: Pick a sibling scenario and let’s role-play a calm, positive response.” Guide him with prompts.
Present the reward chart. “Each time you finish a challenge, add a sticker here. See how many you can collect!”
Review key learnings. “Let’s talk about what you discovered: triggers, favorite calming move, and how you’ll stay calm with siblings.”
Celebrate! “You did it, Anger Buster Hero! Keep practicing these skills every day. I’m proud of you!”
