Welcome to Artful Emotions

Introduce the lesson by highlighting the importance of understanding and expressing emotions through colors. Explain that today's activity will combine art and discussion to explore how different colors evoke feelings.

Color Theory & Emotions

Discuss color theory basics and its link with emotions. Use imagery and examples of color-emotion associations to engage students. Make sure to invite thoughts on why certain colors may evoke different responses.

Art-Making Activity

Guide students through the art-making activity. Encourage them to be experimental with blending and layering colors. Remind them there is no right or wrong in expressing how they feel.

Reflection & Sharing

Facilitate the reflection and sharing session. Ask each student to describe their work and talk about the emotions they portrayed. Stress the importance of personal expression and understanding through art.
