Big Idea Explorers

Welcome everyone! Today we’ll be Big Idea Explorers. We’ll learn about creativity, draw our own ideas, and share with friends. Let’s get started!

What Is Creativity?

Ask the children: “What does creativity mean?” Give examples like making up a new game or drawing an imaginary animal.

Warm-Up Circle

Explain the circle routine: sitting quietly, listening, and looking at the prompt card example.

Idea Brainstorm

Hand out one prompt card per student. Encourage them to think quietly before sharing aloud. Praise each idea.

Art Creation

Distribute drawing paper and coloring tools. Walk around, ask open questions, and encourage effort and creativity.

Sharing Session

Invite volunteers to come forward. Model positive feedback: “I like how you used lots of colors!”

Cool-Down Reflection

Gather back in a circle. Encourage each child to speak briefly. Highlight creative risks and teamwork.
