Bouncing Back!

Introduce the lesson by welcoming the students and explaining that the topic is about resilience – bouncing back from challenges. Emphasize the importance of not giving up.

What is Resilience?

Discuss the concept of resilience. Ask guiding questions like: 'What does resilience mean to you?' and 'Can you think of a time when you had to be brave and keep trying?'

Not Giving Up

Explain with simple examples that everyone faces difficulties. Encourage students with examples they can relate to (like a difficult homework or learning a new skill).

Resilience Storytelling Activity

Outline the group storytelling activity. Instruct teachers to remind students that each group should create a short story showing a challenge and how they overcame it. Provide reminders to circulate and assist as needed.

Reflection & Wrap-Up

Guide the students through a reflection of what they've learned. Encourage them to think about one strategy they can use next time they face a challenge. Offer positive reinforcement.
