Objectives

What Are Sensory Tools?

Explain that sensory tools give us immediate input to calm our bodies and minds. Use everyday examples (e.g., chewing gum, doodling) to connect.

Tool Gallery: Part 1

Show each tool or a picture if available. Invite the student to close their eyes and imagine how it feels to touch or use each one.

Continue presenting. Demonstrate or let student touch textured items if possible.

Usage Tips
