Slide Deck

Can I Do It?

Introduce the session by showing enthusiasm about setting and achieving personal goals. Explain that today the student will choose a small challenge and learn how to plan for success.

Super You Discussion

Read each question aloud, pause for responses, and encourage the student to share examples of their strengths and past successes.

Choose Your Challenge

Guide the student in naming a challenge and filling in each part of the chart. Offer examples if needed (e.g., learning to tie shoes, drawing a picture).

I Did It Checklist

Ask the student to imagine finishing each step and check off the criteria. Emphasize noticing progress and celebrating small wins.

Celebrate Your Success!

Celebrate the student’s goal-setting work. Offer positive feedback, a sticker, or a cheer. Prompt them to share what they learned about themselves.
