Lesson Plan

Active Listening Blueprint

Students will demonstrate active listening by paraphrasing, asking clarifying questions, and using nonverbal cues to show understanding in peer conversations.

Active listening fosters empathy, improves peer communication, and supports students’ social-emotional growth by teaching them to pay attention, reflect, and respond thoughtfully.
