Slide Deck

Welcome to Perspective-Taking!

Introduce the topic of perspective-taking and its relevance in conflict resolution. Encourage students to reflect on times when they might have misunderstood someone else's point of view.

What is Perspective?

Explain what perspective means. Use real-life examples like differing opinions on a school project or a family decision. Ask for a couple of examples to make it relatable.

Scenario: The Group Project Conflict

Present a scenario where two characters have a conflict due to different perspectives. Ask guiding questions to stimulate discussion about how the conflict might be resolved if each person understood the other's view.

Discussion Time

Facilitate a class discussion; encourage students to share their thoughts on the scenario. Make sure to emphasize empathy and listening.

Wrap-Up

Summarize the key ideas of the session and emphasize the importance of applying perspective-taking in daily interactions, especially in resolving conflicts.
