Welcome to the Colorful Feelings Festival!

Introduce the festival and set the stage for a fun exploration of colors and feelings. Emphasize that today is about expressing emotions through art. Remind teachers to invite student participation from the start.

Our Festival Objectives

Review the objective and materials needed. Encourage students by showing the color swatches and emotion cards to spark interest in what each color might represent.

Connecting Colors and Emotions

Discuss the connection between color and emotion. Use the pre-selected color swatches as visual cues. Prompt the students with questions about how colors make them feel.

Art Creation Time

Guide the students to create their own artwork. Encourage creativity while reminding them there is no right or wrong way to express emotions. Periodically walk around to support and ask questions about their choices.

Sharing & Reflection

Facilitate a group discussion. Ask students to share the art they've created and describe the emotions behind their choices. Wrap up the session by highlighting how art can be a window into our feelings.
