Welcome participants and set a positive tone. • Introduce yourself and the “Compliance Champions” session. • Highlight the session length (90 minutes) and Tier 2 small-group focus. • Encourage active participation.

Why Focus on Tier 2 Compliance?

Explain why Tier 2 group interventions matter: • Share a brief statistic or story about students needing extra support. • Emphasize how compliance drives engagement and reduces disruptions.

Strategy #1: Positive Reinforcement

Walk through each element of positive reinforcement: • Provide real-life examples (e.g., praise, tokens). • Encourage participants to reference their handout.

Strategy #2: Structured Routines

Discuss how routines create predictability: • Illustrate with a visual schedule example. • Ask participants to share quick wins they’ve seen with routines.

Small-Group Role-Play

Action Plan Development
