Confidence Quest

Welcome students and introduce the session. Say: “Today we’ll explore what self-esteem means and how to boost it by recognizing our strengths.” Briefly explain the goal: identify strengths and craft affirmations.

Introduction & Warm-Up

Explain “self‐esteem” as how we feel about ourselves. Ask for words students associate with high self-esteem. Record on chart paper.

Self-Esteem Reflection

Distribute the Self-Esteem Reflection Worksheet. Remind students this is private; they only share what they’re comfortable with. Circulate to support.

Group Sharing & Discussion

Have students form pairs or triads. Encourage active listening and positive feedback. After small groups, reconvene and note common themes.

Crafting Affirmations

Model a few affirmations. Provide sentence starters for extra support. Remind students affirmations are positive, present-tense statements.

Closure & Next Steps

Invite volunteers to share an affirmation. Encourage placing affirmations in visible spots daily. Thank students for participation.
