What Are Coping Skills?

Discuss what coping skills are, and their importance. Ask students for examples from their own life if comfortable.

Key Coping Strategies

Review the three key coping strategies and provide additional examples as needed. Encourage student input.

Interactive Activity

Guide the interactive activity. Instruct students to work in groups, discuss and think about additional coping strategies, and role-play scenarios.

Reflect & Share

Wrap up the lesson. Ask students to reflect on the exercise and share which coping skill they found most useful, emphasizing practical use of these skills.
