Lesson Plan
Emotion Commotion Control
Students will identify and understand their emotions using an “emotion thermometer” and practice at least three self-regulation strategies in varied scenarios.
Emotional regulation supports students’ mental health, improves focus, and builds resilience. Teaching these skills early helps students manage stress, engage positively, and succeed academically and socially.
