Slide Deck

Welcome to Emotion Detectives!

Introduce the session with energy. Mention that today's session is like a detective investigation where each of them will solve the mystery of emotions. Use a fun, engaging tone and explain the importance of understanding emotions.

Why Emotions Matter

Discuss why recognizing emotions is important. Use simple language and provide examples of everyday situations where emotional understanding can help.

Clue #1: Facial Expressions & Tone

Explain how facial expressions and tone of voice can be clues to someone's feelings. Ask students if they've ever guessed how someone is feeling just by looking at them.

Clue #2: Scenario Analysis

Present a scenario description. Ask students to work in groups discussing the emotional cues shown in this scenario, referring back to the detective theme. Remind them to think about body language and context.

Detective Debrief

Wrap up the slide deck by encouraging students to think like detectives in their daily lives. Prepare them for the upcoming quiz as a way to assess understanding of these emotional clues.
