Welcome to the Emotion Rainbow Hunt!

Welcome the students and introduce the concept of emotions and colors. Explain that today they will go on an adventure to find colors that match different feelings.

Colors and Emotions

Discuss how colors can represent different emotions. Show the emotion flashcards and ask students to mimic the emotions.

Color Hunt Activity

Explain the rules of the color hunt. Assign each color an emotion and encourage students to find objects in the room that match these colors.

Create the Emotion Rainbow

Guide students to gather around the large paper rainbow. Have them place their found items or draw on the rainbow according to the color-emotion association.

Our Emotion Rainbow

Conclude the activity by reviewing the colors and emotions. Encourage students to share how they feel today using the colors from the rainbow.
