Walking in Others' Shoes

Introduce the concept with an engaging visual: a pair of shoes in different colors representing diversity. Briefly discuss the importance of understanding different perspectives.

Seeing Different Perspectives

Show images of diverse children and ask students what they think each child might be feeling. Encourage students to share ideas.

A Day in the Life

Present a scenario: A student who forgot their lunch and is feeling sad. Ask students to think about how they would feel and what they could do to help.

Walking in Someone's Shoes

In this slide, summarize the idea of empathy using a metaphor of 'walking in someone else's shoes'. Reinforce that empathy helps us understand and care for one another.

Reflect and Share

Encourage interaction by asking the students to share what they learned and how they might use empathy in their daily lives. Summarize discussion points here.
