Lesson Plan

Empathy Mapping Lesson Plan

Students will visualize and understand others’ perspectives by completing empathy maps—identifying what a person Thinks, Feels, Says, and Does—and reflect on their learning through guided discussion and an exit ticket.

Building empathy enhances students’ interpersonal relationships, conflict-resolution skills, and appreciation of diverse viewpoints, fostering a supportive classroom community.
