Introduce the lesson. Explain that today's art project is all about expressing emotions and understanding each other through creative art. Use this slide to capture attention and set a warm, inviting tone.

What is Empathy?

Discuss the meaning of empathy. Ask the students what they think empathy means and share examples from everyday life. Remind them that empathy is about understanding and sharing feelings.

Art and Emotions

Show visual examples of art depicting various emotions. Explain how different colors and shapes can represent feelings. Encourage students to think about what art piece might represent their own emotions.

Your Turn: Create & Collaborate

Guide the class in small group discussions. Have each group decide on an emotion to represent and use art supplies to create a group piece. Emphasize the process of discussion and collaboration.

Sharing & Reflection

Wrap up the session with a reflective discussion. Ask groups to share what they learned about empathy through their art. Highlight the importance of understanding others' experiences.
