Empowerment Through Personal Narratives

Introduce the lesson and set the tone. Emphasize that this session is a safe space for sharing personal experiences of empowerment. Remind students that every experience is valuable.

What is Empowerment?

Explain the concept of empowerment using simple definitions and examples that are relatable. Ask students to give examples if comfortable.

Brainstorming Empowerment

Guide students through the brainstorming activity. Instruct them to write down at least three moments when they felt empowered. Mention that ideas can be shared on the board.

Your Personal Narrative

Introduce narrative writing guidelines and a sample writing prompt to help students start their narratives.

Sharing Your Story

Explain the sharing process. Encourage respectful listening and supportive feedback among peers. Remind students that sharing is voluntary.

Reflection & Next Steps

Wrap up the session by asking reflective questions. Encourage students to think about what they learned and how they can use these insights in the future.
