Welcome to Feelings and Faces!

Introduce the session by welcoming the students and capturing their attention. Explain that today they will learn how our faces can show how we feel.

Introduction & Warm-Up

Explain the concept of feelings and facial expressions. Use a mirror to demonstrate a happy face and have students mimic the expression.

Emotion Flashcards

Show each emotion flashcard clearly and ask the students to look in their mirrors. Engage them by discussing how the flashcard makes them feel and what expressions match it.

Facial Expression Activity

Arrange students in a circle and let each student take a turn showing their emotion with their facial expression. Encourage the group to guess which emotion is being shown.

Closure & Reflection

Bring the session to a close by having a brief discussion about what they learned. Praise their participation and emphasize that understanding emotions helps us take care of our friends.
