Lesson Plan

Feelings Fiesta

Students will learn to recognize and name five basic emotions (happy, sad, angry, surprised, scared) and express them through discussion, movement, and craft, fostering social-emotional awareness.

Building emotion vocabulary and expression helps kindergarteners understand their feelings, communicate needs, and develop self-regulation skills essential for positive mental health.
