Finding Your Calm Lesson Plan

Students will learn and practice three evidence-based coping skills to manage severe anxiety and create a personalized plan they can use in their new school environment.

New 9th graders often experience high anxiety when adjusting to a new school. Teaching coping skills empowers them to self-regulate emotions, build resilience, and improve focus in the classroom.
