Friendship Flashlight Lesson Plan

Students will identify and practice qualities of good friendship—kindness, empathy, cooperation—through discussion, role-play, and creative reflection in a 20-minute interactive lesson.

Learning to recognize and demonstrate positive friendship qualities builds social skills, emotional understanding, and a supportive classroom community for 2nd graders.
