Lesson Plan

Communication Skills for Home

Students will learn and practice active listening and constructive self-expression through guided discussion and role-play, gaining at least two concrete strategies to improve communication with family members.

Strong family communication builds empathy and trust, reduces conflicts, and empowers students to share feelings respectfully. This lesson gives 6th graders tools to listen attentively and express themselves clearly at home.
