Students will identify personal self-care strategies, reflect on what recharges them, and collaboratively build a weekly recharge plan to manage stress and boost resilience.

Recharge Methods

Welcome students and introduce the focus on self-care categories that help us recharge. Explain that these slides will guide them through definitions and examples. Encourage note-taking and participation.

What Is Self-Care?

Define self-care and stress how it’s not selfish but essential. Invite a student volunteer to paraphrase the definition.

Physical Self-Care

After presenting examples, pause and ask: “What’s one physical activity you enjoy that helps you feel energized?” Record responses on chart paper.

Emotional Self-Care

Ask students to share an emotional self-care activity they’ve tried. Highlight the importance of naming and processing feelings.

Social Self-Care

Encourage students to suggest social activities that help them feel connected. Emphasize balance and healthy boundaries.

Creative Self-Care

Prompt students for creative self-care ideas. Note how creativity can be calming and expressive even in small moments.

Reflection & Sharing

Invite students to reflect: Which category resonates most with you? Ask them to call out examples and write them on chart paper under each category.
