Welcome the student. Introduce session purpose and set a positive tone. Explain today's focus on impulse control and honesty.

Session Objectives

Review the objectives with the student. Invite her to share what she hopes to gain.

Scenario Analysis

Hand the student the [Impulse Control Scenarios](#impulse-control-scenarios). Ask her to read each and identify triggers. Guide discussion on alternative responses.

Truth vs. Embellishment Reflection

Distribute the [Truth vs. Embellishment Worksheet](#truth-vs-embellishment-worksheet). Encourage the student to reflect honestly and separate facts from embellishments.

Coping Strategies

Introduce coping strategies. Ask the student to choose two or three she finds realistic. Prepare to role-play applying them.

Practice Using Strategies

Explain how to use the [Coping Strategies Choice Board](#coping-strategies-choice-board). Role-play or discuss scenarios applying chosen strategies.

Reflection & Next Steps
