Build independence with proactive strategies

This lesson is designed for a one-on-one setting to help a 1st-grade student with social-emotional challenges develop independence by creating proactive strategies to manage their emotions. Through personalized discussion, interactive activities, and reflection, the student will learn how to ask for breaks and use other strategies to minimize dysregulation.
