Inside Out Explorer

Welcome the student to the "Inside Out Explorer" session. Introduce today’s focus on self-awareness through strengths, emotions, and triggers. Explain that we’ll use interactive sheets to guide our work.

Lesson Objectives

Read the objectives aloud. Emphasize that these goals will guide each part of the lesson.

Identify Your Strengths

Hand the student the [Inside Out Personal Strengths Organizer](#inside-out-strengths-organizer). Encourage detailed examples. Ask probing questions: “Why does this strength matter?”

Explore Your Emotions

Display or hand out the [Inside Out Emotion Wheel](#inside-out-emotion-wheel). Guide the student to pick their current feeling and describe a situation that triggered it.

Reflect on Your Triggers

Provide the [Inside Out Reflection Sheet](#inside-out-reflection-sheet). Encourage writing or drawing. Prompt the student to think about people, places, or events that spark their emotion.

Cool-Down & Next Steps

Review the student’s responses. Celebrate their insights. Ask them to choose one strength-based action to try when they notice this emotion during the week.
