Integrity: The Real You

Introduce the lesson by explaining that today's SEL focus is on integrity: what it is, why it matters, and how it affects our daily lives. Encourage students to think about personal examples of integrity.

Play the chosen video to demonstrate real-world examples of honesty and integrity. Pause the video at key moments to ask students what they think about the actions shown.

Morning Meeting Discussion

Facilitate a morning meeting discussion. Use prompts to help students share personal examples of integrity. Encourage them to speak about situations at home, school, or elsewhere where integrity was important.

Exit Ticket Reflection

Wrap up the lesson by guiding students in the exit ticket reflective exercise. Ask them to write down what integrity means to them along with one example of how they can practice it in everyday life. Collect these tickets for review.
