What is a Good Friend?

Teacher: Lead students in a discussion on friendship. Ask them to think about what they think friendship means using the discussion prompts from the lesson plan.

Create Your Quilt Square

Teacher: Explain the activity clearly. Remind them how each quilt square represents what a friend means to them.

Sharing Time & Quilt Assembly

Teacher: Facilitate sharing and praise all creative efforts. Reinforce that every friend matters and their piece contributes to the class quilt.
