Kindness Assembly Line

Introduce Pre-K students to acts of kindness by engaging them in an interactive assembly line activity where they perform simple acts like tying a shoe, helping someone up, sharing a toy, and giving a compliment to illustrate how kindness spreads.

Welcome to the Kindness Assembly Line!

Introduce the concept of kindness. Ask the students what they think kindness means. Use the Visual Kindness Cards to show various acts of kindness such as tying a shoe, helping someone stand up, sharing a toy, or giving a compliment. Encourage simple questions and participation.

Assembly Line Activity

Explain the assembly line activity. Arrange students in a line. Clearly explain that each student will perform different acts of kindness when it’s their turn. Demonstrate miming tying a shoe, helping someone stand up, pretending to share a toy, and giving a compliment with a smile. Use the activity checklist to track participation.

Kindness Spreads!

Wrap up the lesson with a group discussion. Invite the students to share their feelings and experiences while performing the different acts of kindness. Reinforce the importance of being kind and spreading positivity every day.
