Kindness Community Kickoff Lesson Plan

Students will define kindness and respect, share real-life examples, and co-create 4–5 classroom norms to foster a supportive community by the end of the session.

Establishing kindness and respect early builds empathy, strengthens peer bonds, and creates a safe, inclusive environment that supports learning and positive behavior all year.
