Kindness Quotes for Reflection

Introduce the purpose: to reflect on kindness through powerful words. Tell students they will read each quote, reflect silently for 30 seconds, then share with a partner.

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

Display the quote and allow 30 seconds of silent reflection. Then ask students to pair up and discuss what this quote means to them.

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”

After displaying, invite 2–3 volunteers to share their initial reactions. Emphasize the idea that every small act adds up.

“One kind word can warm three winter months.”

Encourage students to recall a time when a simple kind word made a difference in their lives. Ask 1–2 students to share quickly.

“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.”

Discuss how this quote highlights urgency. Prompt: How can we seize moments to be kind today?
