Welcome to Kindness Counts!

Welcome the students by introducing the lesson. Briefly mention that today's session is about understanding kindness and recognizing that even small acts can make a big difference.

What is Kindness?

Start with a warm-up discussion. Ask students what they think kindness means. Encourage them to share personal examples of kind acts they have seen or experienced.

Role Play Activity

Explain the role-playing activity. Guide students through the instructions and encourage participation. Explain that acting out a scenario can help them learn about why kindness is important.

How Did That Make You Feel?

After the role-play, encourage students to reflect by asking how the kind act in the scenario made them feel. Highlight that different acts of kindness can lead to positive emotions.

Kindness Counts!

Wrap up the session. Ask students to share one kind action they plan to do. Recap the main points and encourage them to practice kindness daily.
