Lesson Plan Session 1
Students will read the first half of “Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun,” discuss examples of kindness and empathy, and illustrate a personal act of kindness. Through a group discussion and a Kindness Bingo game, students will identify and practice kind behaviors.
This lesson fosters social-emotional learning by building empathy and kindness skills. It supports IEPs and ELLs with visuals, sentence frames, and interactive activities, promoting a positive classroom climate.
