Kindness Quest

Welcome students to our Kindness Quest! Introduce the lesson objectives: defining kindness, exploring its impact, and practicing acts of kindness. Encourage active participation.

What Is Kindness?

Display the Kindness Definition Chart. Ask: “What does kindness mean to you?” Record student responses on chart paper. Guide them to craft a class-friendly definition.

Why Kindness Matters

Draw two columns on chart paper labeled “Why Kindness Helps Others” and “Why Kindness Helps Us.” Invite volunteers to share examples and record their ideas. Highlight emotional and relational benefits.

Kindness Quest Scenarios

Pair up students and hand out the Kindness Scenario Cards. Give them 5 minutes to read, discuss, and decide on a kind response. Then invite each pair to present their scenario and solution.

Reflection Time

Distribute the Kindness Reflection Worksheet. Ask students to complete the prompts. Circulate to support thoughtful, specific reflections.

Kindness Pledge

Invite a few students to share their kindness pledge from the worksheet. Encourage everyone to choose one pledge to practice today and remind them that small acts create big ripples.
