Kindness Quest

Welcome, friends! Introduce our Kindness Quest. Explain that today we will learn about feelings and practice being kind helpers.

Our Class Rules

Point to the Class Rules Poster and quickly review these two rules. Ask: “What does it mean to be kind?”

How Are You Feeling?

Show the Emotion Flashcards one by one. Ask: “What emotion do you see? How can you tell?” Encourage students to copy the facial expression.

Kindness Sharing

Bring out the Kindness Sharing Chart. Invite a volunteer to draw or write one kind act. After each entry, ask: “How does this act make someone feel?”

Quest Wrap-Up

Gather back on the carpet. Ask volunteers to share 1) an emotion we named and 2) a kind act from our chart. Hand out stickers or high-fives.

Keep Being Kind!

Celebrate your helpers! Remind everyone to keep following our class rules and share kindness all day.
