Mastering My Emotions

Welcome students to the lesson on mastering emotions. Introduce the session and outline what they will learn today. Remind them of the goal: to understand and manage their emotions.

What Are Emotions?

Explain what emotions are in simple terms. Ask students to share examples of when they felt happy, sad, or mad. Use a calm tone and ensure all responses are validated.

Emotion Chart Activity

Introduce the Emotion Chart Activity. Briefly go through the chart and explain how to match examples of emotions to their corresponding feelings. Emphasize that every emotion is okay.

Feelings Flashcards

Present the Feelings Flashcards activity. Show each card and ask students to identify the emotion. Encourage group discussion and sharing of experiences.

Reflection & Wrap-Up

Wrap up the lesson by asking students to share one strategy they learned for managing their feelings. Summarize the session and remind them to use these skills both at school and at home.
