Meet Your Super Self

Welcome students and set a positive tone. Explain that today they’ll discover and celebrate their own “superpowers” — the special qualities that make each of them unique.

Objectives

Read each objective aloud. Emphasize that we’re detectives of our own strengths.

Introduction & Warm-Up (5 min)

Gather students in a circle. Reveal the [Positive Qualities Chart Poster](#positive-qualities-chart-poster) and point to examples like kindness, creativity, and helpfulness.

Brainstorming Strengths (5 min)

Explain the think-pair-share steps clearly. Circulate while pairs talk to listen for exciting strengths you can spotlight.

Create Your Super Shield (10 min)

Distribute [Super Self Shields Template](#super-self-shields-template) and art supplies. Encourage creativity and ask prompting questions about their symbols.

Reflection & Sharing (8 min)

Hand out the [Super Self Reflection Sheet](#super-self-reflection-sheet). After writing/drawing, pair students up again for peer sharing. Note strengths for informal assessment.

Wrap-Up (2 min)

Invite 1–2 volunteers to share with the whole group. Reinforce daily celebration of each other’s strengths. Collect sheets for review.
