Mindful Minute Routine
Students will engage in a 5-minute mindfulness routine to practice deep breathing and self‐reflection, developing early self-awareness skills by noticing their bodily sensations and emotions.
Building self-awareness helps first graders recognize their feelings and regulate their responses. A daily, short routine fosters calm, focus, and emotional vocabulary growth.
