What is Mindfulness?

Guided Yoga Session

Introduce the yoga session. Explain that yoga is a way to connect with our bodies and minds through movement and breathing.

Basic Yoga Poses

Show images or diagrams of the yoga poses: Mountain Pose, Tree Pose, and Child's Pose. Encourage students to focus on their breathing and posture.

Mindfulness Exercise

Guide students through a mindfulness exercise. Encourage them to close their eyes, focus on their breath, and notice their thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Closing Reflection

Invite students to reflect on their experience. Ask them how they felt during the session and how they might use mindfulness in their daily lives.
