Welcome the students and introduce the lesson. Use an enthusiastic tone to get them curious about today’s story. Ask them to predict what “Move and Munch” might be about.

Active Snack Adventure — Part 1

Read aloud the first part of the story, pausing at the discussion prompt. Encourage students to visualize Mia and Leo running in the park.

Active Snack Adventure — Part 2

Allow quick responses (30–45 seconds), then read the next section. Use vivid expression to make the snack moment fun.

Active Snack Adventure — Part 3

Take student answers (30–45 seconds), then finish the story with energy. Emphasize the joy of playing after snacking.

Group Discussion

Guide a quick group discussion. Invite 2–3 students to share before moving on. Reinforce that healthy snacks help energy and fun.

Reflection Activity

Wrap up the session by asking each student to commit. Keep it brief—one or two sentences per student.
