Greet the student warmly. Show the [Respectful Boundary Poster](#respectful-boundary-poster) and say: "This is our personal bubble—the space around each of us!" Encourage the student to share what they think their bubble looks like.
Point to each zone on the slide graphic. Explain: “Close Zone is for hugs; Medium Zone is for talking and waving; Far Zone is for looking and sharing toys.” Use simple language and gestures.
Bring out the hula hoop or string circle. Invite the student to stand inside. Model greeting from outside the hoop: wave and say “Hello from my bubble!”
Hand the student the [Personal Bubble Chart](#personal-bubble-chart) and stickers. Prompt them: “Where do you feel comfy? Put a happy sticker there.” Offer gentle guidance.
Explain the game: “We’ll walk slowly and freeze if someone steps in our bubble!” Model once and encourage the student to lead. Offer praise for freezes.
Review the zones and praise the student: “You did awesome keeping your bubble safe!” Hand them a small chart to practice at home.
