Slide Deck

Positive Poster Inspiration

Set the slide background with the lesson gradient (#FFE4E1 → #FFCFCF → #FFBABA). Introduce the purpose of today’s slide deck.

What Is a Positive Affirmation?

Discuss student responses and connect to their own experiences. Emphasize that affirmations are kind messages we tell ourselves and others.

Affirmation Examples

Read each example aloud. Ask students to give a thumbs-up for the ones they like. Encourage them to notice the short, clear wording.

Colorful Poster Templates

Show actual poster templates if available, or sketch on the board. Point out space for text, simple drawings, and borders.

Design Tips

Highlight each design tip and why it works. Ask students to think how they will apply these tips to their own posters.

Let’s Brainstorm!

Guide the brainstorm: prompt students to talk with a neighbor, then share one idea with the class.
